Best Thrift Stores to Shop at in Jamaica

It’s still the season for shopping and shopping thrift stores can be hard in Jamaica. Searching for local thrift stores can be like looking for a needle in a haystack. While there are countless clothing retail stores online or traditional storefronts it’s not the same for thrift stores. This year however I found a few stores that I’d love to share with you. In the usual Sunny Side style, I’ll take the guesswork out of finding the right thrift store to suit your needs by providing a list of all the thrift stores I know. I’ll throw in a mini-review of each store to sweeten the pot too.
I love thrift shopping, finding steals for less than half the original price. So when I found this first store I was an undergraduate at the UWI and it was an absolute Godsend. As a college student funding my wardrobe was never a priority and that made it more important for me to find attractive clothing for a bargain. Alas, a thrift shopper was born.
I was reading the newspaper one day at Uni when I came across an ad for a pop-up thrift shop, right away, I took a picture of it with every intention of attending the very next one, and that’s exactly what I did!

The Thrift Link
Next on the list is, The Thrift Link, on Instagram as @876thrift. This thrift store I found when I went hunting for more options, I haven’t bought anything from them yet but the pieces displayed were worthy of a follow and I’ll be keen to see what they post in the future.
Thrift Nature Ja
Another online thrift store is Thrift Nature Ja, also on Instagram as @thriftnatureja. This is the only store I’ve found to offer consignment. You can sell your new or gently worn items with them at a percentage of the sale price.
Mukkle Thrift
Mukkle thrift is a semi-annual charity pop-up thrift shop founded and coordinated by fan of the environment, Sarah Mikes over at www.milesguide.com. This thrift store encourages sustainability while supporting local causes. You can find the cause on Instagram at @mukklethrift.
Thrift It By K
Next, there is Thrift It By K, a new online thrift shop that offers high to low-end clothes, bags and other accessories from popular brands like Gucci, Fashion nova, and Puma.

Its nice to know thriving in becoming a big thing in Jamaica. I am registered as a thrift store but have been operating from home. That`s a major challenge. My question is do you have events that other business like this can participate? I would very much like to.
