A few weeks ago one of my readers asked to do a post on shipping agencies in Jamaica. I was trying to come in with some research and first-hand experience but the way my budget is set up I haven’t been doing any online shopping lately. Although I’ve only personally tried two of these businesses there’s a third one that needs no introduction. I’ll share my thoughts on all 3 and include a few others I’ve heard about.
Web Source Jamaica
My first love. I started shopping here in 2017 I think and it’s been a blessing. A whole new world unfolded. I now had the option to choose what I should pay for an item. If it was too expensive locally I could check the online price and shipping cost and decide whether it would be a better buy to ship it. In most cases it was.
- Good customer service
- Never busy
- Affordable shipping rates
- No membership fees
- Free delivery in Kingston
- Not centrally located
- Not the fastest shipping time
You can find Websource Ja at George Headley Stand, Sabina Park, 39 South Camp Road, Kingston 4 or http://www.websourcejamaica.com/.
Shipwize/ Circles Ja
With six locations islandwide Shipwize has a competitive advantage. Not only are their pick up locations accessible customer service is commendable and the shipping is the fastest I’ve experienced.
On my first purchase using them to ship, I got my package within 5 working days. I was amazed.
If you decide to use them they also have a referral program where you save for every friend who does business with them. If you decide to start using Shipwize say that Candi sent you.
- Central location
- Fast shipping
- Low shipping rates
- No delivery option
You can find Shipwize/ Circles Ja at their main office 5-7 Roosevelt Avenue, Suite A, Kingston 6 or http://shipwize.com
The other courier services I know to exist but haven’t tried are:
- Union one express
- SSMC Xpress International
Let me know if you choose to use any of the agencies to start shopping today.
Have a great day.
