Best New Online Thrift Stores in Jamaica

In 2018 I wrote a blog post detailing how difficult it was finding thrift stores in Jamaica and I’m happy to say that in 2021 that’s no longer the case. Thrift stores are popping up all over the place and the idea of dressing sustainably is spreading day by day.

Just last year I found over 6 thrift stores in Jamaica that sell their wares online. So of course I’ll be sharing each and every one I found with you in a list post.

The Exchange @itstheexchange

First, we have the exchange, an online based thrift store brand that exudes luxury. This store offers customers the chance to become consignees and sell items they no longer need for a 50% commission (which is extremely fair for all the work they do). High-end brand names are no stranger to this store and customers can expect nothing shy of premium quality pieces. The pieces from the Exchange are not considered premium purely because of the brands but in overall quality. The pieces sold here are only ever very gently worn or items that have never been worn.

Also, as a consignee, the process is clear and professional. There are no hidden fees and the owner is a delight to work with. Clients can track every item sold and for how much.

Thrift stir @thrift.stir

Thrift stir is a local online thrift store or trade stop. With Thrift Stir you can expect to find inexpensive vintage steals and deals with great DIY potential to stir up your style.

Thrift fitz @thrift.fit

Thrift Fitz is based in the parish of Clarendon. This store features female clothing for the petite woman. If you’re a size small you can check them out. Items here are sold from the owner’s closet so stock is limited so get it while you can.

Ville breeze @ville_breeze

Beach cover-up anyone? Ville Breeze is the thrift store of choice for a good beach coverup and other like -new female clothing pieces. Ville Breeze stuck out to me because of the wide selection of women’s attire and low prices.

iThrift Jamaica @ithriftjamaica

iThrift Jamaica is another newbie on the block that packs a punch. The special thing about this Jamaican thrift store is the selling style. For this store items are displayed in drops or collections. That means only a small number of clothing pieces are displayed at a time and sold.

The fun thing about thrifting is finding unique pieces. This next set of thrift stores in Jamaica sell very unusual items.
